  • A total of 11.000 m² facade has been reconstructed and energy waste has been reduced in a large scale
  • The entrance gate has been expended to the curbside by 8m in width and 100m in length, thus enabling the addition of new x-ray machines for decreasing the time for processing passengers,
  • A total of 96 counters were equipped with Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) allowing airlines to use more counters to cope with peaks in demand resulting in much more efficient check-in process.
  • Baggage carousel and conveyor system was renewed to provide the screening, storage, transfer and sorting systems required to ensure the safe, timely arrival of passenger luggage with minimum or no errors.
  • Installation of Explosive Detection System (EDS) ensures Level 5 security screening
  • Improvement / Installation of systems such as FIDS, CUTE, PCA, DGS and CCTV ensured a modern airport terminal operation
  • 12 new PBBs have been installed, allowing the operator to have shorter time intervals for the embarking and disembarking of the passengers
